MANAGEMENT/DEVELOPMENT Aberash has received her Master's Degree in Management and Development with a specialization in social inclusion, Gender, and Rural livelihoods. She has more than 30 years of experience at NGOs and GOs. She has worked as a Program Coordinator, Department Head for Women in Development, Project Officer, and Home Economics Expert. She was involved in introducing small-scale improved postharvest handling, storage, and agro-processing technologies. She has played a role in job creation for rural women and youth by engaging them in threshing/shelling services and small scale agro-processing enterprises. She has facilitated training on postharvest handling, storage management, agro-processing, and human nutrition for farmers. She is currently working in Sasakawa Africa Association as Technical Coordinator for Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture.

MANAGEMENT/TRAINER Kalkidan Girma is the co-founder of KEMMCOM; a Management Consulting firm that provides advisory, consulting and training services in two major practice areas: Corporate Affairs and Corporate Development. Kalkidan leads the Corporate Development practice with emphasis on developing business strategy, organizational health assessment, corporate strengthening, change management, facilitating soft skill trainings and implementing diversity and inclusion (D&I). Having worked in both the government and private sectors in the U.S. and Ethiopia for over 20 years, Kalkidan brings a wealth of experience and expertise in institutionalizing companies along with a proven track record of exceeding the expectations of stakeholders. Prior to focusing full-time on KEMMCOM, Kalkidan served as Management Specialist at the U.S. Embassy located in Addis Ababa handling different mission critical projects. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles at Verizon Wireless located in the U.S. She is a certified trainer and Equal Employment Opportunity counselor with an expertise on diversity and inclusion.
