Selam is a media consultant specializing in the intersection of media with gender, conflict, and social change.  She has over 10 years of experience working as a country lead, capacity development lead, writer, strategist, campaigner, researcher, and trainer. Selam has also developed multiple guides, training manuals, and campaign strategies to create social awareness on gender and contribute to a more responsible media that is sensitive to gender and conflict reporting.
