Meaza is a passionate evidence-based development practitioner. She was a senior gender researcher for Includovate, worked for iDE as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and then was promoted to Monitoring and Evaluation Manager within four years of working at iDE. She has held various roles including Economist and Planning and Evaluation Officer at Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority. She has experience in Human-Centered Design and quantitative evaluations and is passionate about gender equality. She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Management from UNESCO-IHE Institute based in Delft, Netherlands; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Haramaya University, Ethiopia. Her core competencies are quantitative evaluation, feasibility study, gender analysis, MEL plan development, impact assessment, program management and Domain expertise.
